RITC had worked on research through public opinion and religious leaders. The result from research will help to provide policy relevant evidence to be used in advocacy efforts at all levels to strengthen the rule of law and societal norms against the promotion of tobacco produce use.
To ascertain specific policy relevant public opinion data in the area of advertising bans, health warning labels, smoke free area policies, and tobacco taxation.
To investigate policy relevant opinions of key Cambodian religious leaders to support advocacy for smoking bans throughout community religious sites.
To advocate for enhanced usage of relevant religious teachings and that can have an impact on national tobacco usage and assist to control/change behavior.
